Brief Introduction
Cass Tech Marching Band Dancers.
At the request of Directress Ms. Sharon Allen, the Sophisticated Ladies were founded in December of 2009 by Jennifer Webb-Peeples, Aundria Spears,
and Donnah Laster (who were all graduates and members of the Cass Tech Marching Band) . The Sophisticated
Ladies originally began with 26 girls, which later decreased to 9. Sophisticated Ladies, along with the Cass Tech Marching Band have made several accomplishments. A few of the major accomplishments were events such as featuring in a video for Chrysler Corporation. The video stars the Selected of God Choir singing the gospel version of Eminem's "Lose Yourself". The Sophisticated Ladies have also performed in the Thanksgiving Day Parade, as well as several other parades. The Sophisticated Ladies also performed with the CTMB at the Back To School Rally in Fall of 2010. The Sophisticated Ladies, along with the Cass Tech Marching Band will continue to represent the city of Detroit and Cass Technical High School with honor and dignity while continuing the Legacy of the CTMB.
